The newly minted Citizens for Correct Time sent out the Communiquer this afternoon.

You need a manifesto.. Manifesto’s are cool. ;)
I love your communiquer, although I believe the word is spelled without an “r”. But you’re all about correct time, not spelling, so who cares.
I think you’re right — whe you communication, ‘vous communiquer’, but the noun is communique. I’ve always been more of a verb guy than a noun guy, though, so that’s okay.
Be careful Peter — you should be aware of what you’re jumping in to. One day you start some silly petition — the next day your on the CBC.
random comments: -cut them some slack — remember even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day -speaking of silly petitions — wasn’t there a petition started by the This Hour has 20 minutes people to force Stockwell Day to change his name to Doris Day? -I forget who it was but some airline executive said “If you don’t keep the dinner trays clean, people assume you don’t maintain the engines either”.
Enjoyed seeing pieces of your communiquer in The Guardian today, oh! man of action (verb guy).
