I’ve heard of similar cycling programs in other cities, but they rarely work because people steal the bikes. There is the maintenance factor as well, but those puppies look like low-maintenance to me. Single speed, no spokes, pedal break…easy peasy. Very cool And very noticable too. Plus, who’d want to steal them.
