European Trip Photos: Ljubljana and Zagreb

Peter Rukavina

I’ve posted the first round of photos from our trip to Europe earlier in the month: Ljubljana and Zagreb. More soon.

Note that these are mostly just “raw” photos, not colour-corrected, cropped, or culled.

From these photos, I’ve determined that Crotatia is full of small cars, grafitti, and is generally poorly lit.

There’s a lot of graffiti here in Hungary too. I’ll post some if you like. There are also lots of similarities between the look of Croatia and some towns in the south of Hungary. Very east central Europe. Where are the people?

It was a national holiday on the day I took a lot of the Zagreb photos. We asked about the origin of the holiday, and the best answer we got was from the car rental guy, who said something like “it’s a celebration of Croatian independence; they keep moving around the date.”
