$1141 for the Holiday Inn Express?

Peter Rukavina

As I suspected, prices for hotel rooms in Boston during the Democratic National Convention are a little crazy. Witness this quote from Expedia for a room at the Holiday Inn Express (aka a generic bland hotel): Holiday Inn Prices during the DNC

Of course it does include parking!

I thought the DNC was sugar-daddying all the lucky bloggers since they aren’t being bankrolled by a news organization? (lucky bloggers.. I need to start making this interweb stuff work for me too)

Thank goodness!

When Kerry picked Edwards I thought for one awful minute that the Democrats might develop class consciousness. I am so relieved to see that only very rich people (or those supported by very rich people) will be able to attend that convention. It means that all those decisions will be made by and for the people who really count.

Whew!
