The Yahoo! Around the World Travelogues section is a good place to start if you’re interested in web information from circumnavigators.

Hi Peter, I’m not sure if your “ ‘round the world” adventure interests include the nautical variety, but I became a big fan of the Vendee Globe non-stop solo circumnavigation race a few years ago after reading Godforsaken Sea, an account of the ‘96-‘97 race in which a Canadian died. You don’t need to understand sailing to appreciate this race, or the book.
