The Case for Alien Abduction

From CBC Prince Edward Island comes this perplexing story:

Canada’s four Atlantic provinces will have to pay back millions of dollars in health, social and equalization transfers to Ottawa following the discovery that more than one per cent of the people thought to be living in the region are gone.

What is surprising? On my blog favorites list: Me, Mel, Donna, Kevin, David, Michael are all exports. I can think of many pals and my two brothers on top of them local to me here.

I’m one of the missing persons too. After spending 8 months a year in Ontario for school during the past four years, I finally made the switch official and traded in my drivers license and filed Ontario instead of PEI taxes this year.

I’m sure Newfoundland drags the numbers down considerably. Alan and his favorites notwithstanding, the Island population is actually increasing.
