I am using the typewriter that Catherine Hennessey gave me to type gallery labels for a show that Lisa and I are mounting on Monday. It’s a very satisfying machine to use, and I’m very happy with the results.
Come to The Gallery starting Tuesday to see the show, Layers of love, which will include new work from me, from Lisa, and from our collaboration.

Thanks for sharing this, I recently gave a tour to some folks over in the old graphics building where I began my Yankee career. It was nice to remember all those analog devices (the stat camera, the big horizontal camera for shooting final layouts onto film, the typesetting system with it's HUGE 80meg drive - it was 15 inches or more in diameter with 8 plattens). Your post reminded me of a sign above my bosses door. It was ETAOIN SHRDLU - the first two columns of keys on the Linotype keyboard. Made up and sorted - roughly - by letter frequency for english. I hope you're doing well my friend and have a great show!
