Walk to St. Peter's Island for 2020

Peter Rukavina

Island Nature Trust is again organizing a walk, at low tide, to St. Peter’s Island.

I absolutely loved doing this walk last year: if you’ve never done it, I highly recommend it.

Act quickly: only 30 spots, and they fill quickly.

I loved re-reading your post about that day. Such a great experience. I would love to do it again, but it isn't likely to work out this year. (I also would feel incredibly guilty going without Andrea).

I have read your post about that day a few times, especially during this summer of my exile. But I should confess, I went on the walk a second time last summer! Because Jim wasn't able to go with us on our excursion, I signed us up for a family membership and went on the members-only walk in September. It was the day before hurricane Dorian arrived on PEI, so the walk had a whole different aspect of weather-expectancy about it. While I agree that we should let the spaces go to people who haven't had a chance to experience this yet, joining the organization and getting to participate in exclusive events is something to consider.
