I’ve been proudly going around for several years now proclaiming that it’s possible to send me a letter with the address:
Rukavina
C1A 4R4
My friend Chantal decided to take me up on this offer. And it failed. Her letter was returned-to-sender (in a most unappealing “stroke through the address with pen” manner: you’d think they could at least use a jaunty rubber stamp!).
Fortunately I ran into Chantal downtown earlier in the week and she was able to make the delivery by hand.

Sadly Chantal’s snail mail
Sadly Chantal’s lovely snail mail message to you ran into a stickler postal worker. In days past I have received a card from the UK that was hastily addressed with my name and only PEI, Canada ... lacking the street address, town and postal code.
what i find most odd is that
what i find most odd is that the letter was neither stamped nor stickered as RTS. this most likely indicates that while your carrier did not put in the extra effort to find you, they DID put in the extra effort to give the letter directly to Chantal's carrier, rather than toss it in with the rest of the RTS mail.
