There was an electricity outage last night from Charlottetown east, starting just before 11:00 p.m. and ending around midnight. Because I’m logging the electricity load and generation for the province, this outage got captured in the data:
Electricity load dipped to 58 MW at midnight; the night before at midnight the load was 135 MW.

Today I wondered how much of our PEI e-load this wind is generating through PEI wind turbines: thanks to https://wetmore.ca/peipower/?P=Load, I see it's about 70 MW short that's being imported from NB. So then I wondered where that 70 MW might come from and found this handy chart: https://tso.nbpower.com/Public/en/SystemInformation_realtime.asp . As write this, NB load and generation are pretty balanced, so one could claim that PEI's 70MW is coming from Quebec, which likely means relatively clean hydro electricity!
