The Guardian on today’s Twitter outage:
The company initially confirmed the outage by, somehow, tweeting, from its @support account. We were unable to see the tweet, because Twitter was down. Twitter emailed the text of the tweet to the Guardian, which read: “Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution.”
I love the “somehow.”

The tweet didn't go out, so I'd say how they tweeted was "not at all."
Oh, but it did. Which raises
Oh, but it did. Which raises the question of what “go out” means. If Twitter tweets at itself, is that still tweeting. If you put a letter in a mailbox, but the mailbox freezes shut for a day, did you still mail the letter?
