Hermann Kleefisch Update?

I’m still looking for information on Hermann Kleefisch’s trip around the world. He set off from Prince Edward Island in July in a VW microbus.

Bob Likely passed along a possible email address this morning, and I’ve written to see if I can get an update.

If anyone else has any news, I’d welcome it.

May he rest in peace with his 1st wife (for the life of me I can't remember her name) lovely lady. loved showing off her home and gardens and really loved cooking.

Hi Barbara. The last time I heard from Hermann was last spring. I spoke to him on the phone when he called from Thailand where he was living very happily with his new wife Ta. I tried contacting him again just recently and have not received a response. I spoke to a lady from Germany who had been keeping in contact with him today and she said she has not heard from him in a few months. Hopefully this does not preceed bad news :(

Any news on Hermann? I worked on a film with him close to 20+ years ago. I have retold his story many times.

I just did a search out of the blue on Hermann and found a notice of death in German. He passed away January 16, 2014 but no other details.

This is not correct. Herman is a friend of mine and I had dinner with him a long time after that date. I know he was alive in December 2014. When I last saw him he was extremely happy and contented.

I think his son's name is Pan. Hermann called us in PEI on May 20, 2016 and left a short phone message. I tried calling back a few times and emailing but have not had any response. Hoping all is ok! Anyone else know how to contact him via phone?

Hallo together, my mother was a cousin to Hermann, who should be around 100 years now. He was born in Germany in Northrhine-Westphalia and visited our place together with Tha about 10 years ago. Any notice would make me happy. Especially sign of Life by Hermann himself.
