I wish I’d been present at the branding. I don’t like the word “alibis” for this, because I can’t tell if it’s meant to be subtly saucy and suggestive of something ulterior, and I like to feel I’m on a speaker’s wavelength. “Interaction opportunity” maybe, or “license/occasion for interaction.” If it’s such an ubiquitous and everyday thing, why make it sound esoteric? Which is the effect “alibis” has on me. Anyway, it’s a nice thing to be a thing, I mean if it’s a thing.
