Kids are like snowflakes, no
Kids are like snowflakes, no two are the same. Each of us is different, starting with our names. My hair is ___, as you can see. My eyes are as ____ as they can be. ____ and ____ I like a lot. But ___ and ____ are not so hot! All these things make me, me. I sure am special, don't you agree?

The Snowflake Prayer
Thank You, God,
For the gift of winter.
For the cold frosty snow
And shimmering icicles,
For frozen lakes and rivers,
And most of all for snowflakes,
Ever so beautiful, so special,
So one of a kind.
Let them remind me that
I am like that in Your eyes…
So beautiful, so special,
So one of a kind.
Thank You, God for snowflakes,
Thank You God, for me.

Each of Us a Snowflake
by Emily Warburton: Pisces -
Each of us a Snowflake
We are each of us a snowflake
not two of us the same
Reflections of the endless loving
Source from which we came
Unique in form and beauty
Crystalized at birth
Little flecks of heaven
born to melt into the earth
We are each of us a snowflake
of infinate design
Transitory dancers
on the widow panes of time
Unique in form and beauty
No two of us the same
Reflections of the endless loving
Source from which we came
We are each of us a snowflake
a falling star in flight
A travler through the universe
in search of our own light
Unique in form and beauty
No two of one design
Transitory dancers
on the window pane of time.

Reason: everyone’s unique in their one sort of way.
With your permission I am
With your permission I am attaching this poem to a Pandora bracelet with a snowflake charm and sending it to my granddaughter for her 18th Birthday. I hope she likes it...as I have only seen her once when she was only 18 months old. My daughter-in-law made certain that I had no contact with her husband [my son] and his child. I do not know this lovely creature...I only hope she does not take offense when this gift arrives. The poem is so beautiful..."transitory dancers on the window pane of time '...Aren't we all though....???? How sad it is when children cut their parents out of their lives....the damage done lingers on long after time is gone. Bless you.
I hope and pray you are now
I hope and pray you are now loved by your grand daughter
Hi Al,Last night, I came
Hi Al,
Last night, I came across a poem you posted by Emily Warburton: Pisces, “Each of Us a Snowflake.” I was looking for the other snowflake prayer, but this is really beautiful. I don’t understand the Pisces after the authors name. Should this be included too?
I tried to find this poem elsewhere on the Internet, but with no luck. Yours was the only copy I found. Do you think it would be okay for me to copy and include this in my Christmas cards? Would anyone know if this is copyrighted or can I use it in my greetings?
One area says: Transitory dancers
on the “widow” panes of time
Another says: Transitory dancers
on the “window” pane of time.
I assume “window” is correct for both lines???
Thank you Al, for posting the beautiful poem.
Peace and God bless.
Nancy

Hi everyone, im looking for a poem i wrote as a child in primary school. I won a book prize for it and was told it will be published in a book. I am having difficulty finding it and would be very grateful for any help. It goes like this. Thanks William Gerald Doherty. I wish i was a snowflake falling from the sky.
When i come to earth.
On the ground id lie.
Id like little girls and boys to lift me and roll me in a ball.
when they throw me at someone it wouldnt hurt at all.
