Given that we’re already socially engineering immigration to&#160PEI&#160via the PNP program, perhaps Islanders should be canvassed for a wish-list of immigrant skill-sets? I’ll take a taco-maker and a laser-cutter owner/operator to start. Perhaps a stonemason or two?

Fish tacos that cost $5 a piece seem like fish tacos that cost too much. Fish tacos should cost $2.50. But still, a good development. And perhaps one should welcome fish tacos of any sort in Charlottetown.

I had a fish taco at the Bedford Irving last week. It was delicious! Peter, at $5 solo it might be out of your price comfort zone. There is a bit of an annex to the service station called the Red Shack takeout and the cook (who, according to my aunt, is rumoured to have been the chef at Dalvay last year) has all kinds of treats like lamb burgers, excellent french fries and, on Saturdays, makes bar-b-q ribs that usually sell out. I designated this place a hidden Island treasure.
