Not sure what stage this re-imagining of the Peter Pan Corner in Charlottetown is at, and whether it’s a Peter Pan in name only, without the hamburgers, or not.

Not sure what - if anything -
Not sure what - if anything - is happening here. That sign has been up since at least last March.
Since 2006, the Peter Pan
Since 2006, the Peter Pan restaurant and corner has been owned by the TC Group of Companies, and its subsidiary TE Holdings Ltd., who built the Boston Piizza franchise across the street (http://tcent.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=120&Itemid=54).
The incorporation of the 2006 Peter Pan is in the Sept. 23 2006 Royal Gazette: http://www.gov.pe.ca/royalgazette/pdf/20060923.pdf.
I guess it is better to have your own restaurant across the street than have a major competitor buy it. The talk has been that a Quizno’s sub is to go in the left side of PP 2.0 (only steps from Subway!), that the Peter Pan, in some form or other, would remain in the middle under their trademark A frame, and that the right side was for lease. We ran into one of the BP franchisees on a plane , and he told us that they indeed own a Quiznos franchise, so this “talk” makes sense.
There is currently no mention of the leasing availability on the TC Group of Companies website, so they may have parked these plans for a while.
