At least it’s simple to Canadians and Brits, but not necessarily to Americans (at least those outside of New England). I ordered “Fish & Chips” in a seafood restaurant in Virginia Beach once, and they did not know what I was talking about. Turns out you have to ask for “Fish & Fries”, or a “Fish Fry”!
By the way, Brits seems to be a mini-chain out of Edmonton.

They definitely know what
They definitely know what fish and chips are here in Atlanta. It’s a standard menu item, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they do a good job.

Hi - Yes the fish and chips are good at Brits! - and yes we are in Edmonton - I’m originally from Britain - Edmonton is where i opened my first 2 stores - Charlottetown is where i’ve moved to raise my kids, & sell my traditional British F&C -
Im a qualified Fish fryer from UK - never ever do we sell FRIES we peel and cut our own spuds into traditional half inch CHIPS and if you have them to take away we do wrap them in paper. Come try us out!
