Peter Rukavina

Posting with hopes that someone can tell me why Technorati thinks I haven’t updated this blog for 73 days. Help.

I’ve had that happen a couple of times before. I don’t know why it just stops updating sometimes. I got around it by just re-claiming my blog

it stopped working for me a week or so ago and now only flags new posts as links to my site. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.

I figure technorati should know about it by now so I’m not going to contact them.

The ping-by-XML-RPC has been set up — and working — for many years. Then it just stopped having any effect 74 days ago.

I’ve emailed Technorati technical support twice, but have, to date, received no response.

Back in the 1970s when you tagged a post “technorati” David Sifry would be all over the situation. I suppose David Sifry doesn’t actually *know* about the situation because Technorati thinks I’ve gone dark ;-)

Ah… I thought this only happened to me because I have some obscure little blog tucked away in the Swiss Apls…
