You can preview the new route layout that Charlottetown Public Transit will roll out tomorrow (live version now up). I’ve completed the entry of the routes and stops, as well as schedule information for routes #1 and #2; schedule information for routes #3 and #4 (done), as well as schedule proofing (done), to follow this afternoon.
Of course, given the impending winter storm, buses might not roll at all tomorrow.

I really want to thank you
I really want to thank you for this valuable work, Peter. I hope the Trius people appreciate it because I know their customers sure do.

Peter, In looking at www.thebus.ca (nice work by the way), I see a sidebar which says that this website is not affiliated with basically ANYONE, however all of the public transit messages on the radio tell people to click thebus.ca
Confusing?
The sidebar on the
The sidebar on the Interactive Transit Map says “This page is unofficial, not affiliated with the City of Charlottetown nor the transit operator.”
Which is completely true. The project is affiliated with me, and is an independent open source project. Of course anyone, including Trius Tours (who operate Charlottetown’s transit system on behalf of the City of Charlottetown) is welcome to link to the page, mention the page on the radio, or whatever.
But no money or consideration has changed hands (although Trius Tours has helpfully provided me with schedules and maps), the information isn’t guaranteed to be correct, and the only person to blame for problems is me, not Trius or the City.
What would it/will it take
What would it/will it take for the info to become “guaranteed”? (i.e. to the extent such info is ever guaranteed and for whatever such a guarantee is worth)
