Actually, there was evidence of the WTC towers in the first movie. There was a reflection of the towers on Spiderman’s eyes, but it seemed like a later time than the time he’s in. His position does not match the reflection. To match it, he should be on top of the Statue of Liberty or somewhere on the Hudson River or New Jersey. The things in the reflection don’t seem to move. Also, at the end, when he climbs to the top point of a possibly unidentified/made-up tower, I spotted the Twin Towers on the background as the camera revolves around him. 7 WTC seemed to be missing. The FDNY logo wasn’t shown clearly. I think there were two same fire rigs/trucks (Ladder 86) in the movie. They most likely worked on the movie before 9/11. Oops/sorry, from my last comment, not his grandmother, his aunt. One movie that has a realistic reaction of the people was Titanic, for it did happen.
