Vietnamese Restaurants in Charlottetown

Updated November 11, 2020 to version 2.0.

The number of Vietnamese restaurants in Charlottetown was zero for so long that it seems a miracle that we now have nine.

This is so many that a map is required. So I created the map.

Download a PDF map, suitable for printing and pinning to your bulletin board.

The restaurants on the map are:

This map is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License; please copy it far and wide. And eat lots of Vietnamese food: it will make you happy.

I’ve also ensured that up to date information about all of the restaurants is in OpenStreetMap, and you can see a digital map, or export as JSON, here.

What happened to Pho Hung? Is it now The Son?
Also, do you recommend any of these places in particular?

Yes, Pho Hung is now The Son, under new management but in the same space.

I like the coffee and the vibe at Alambé; the vegetarian sandwich there is good, but the bread was more “hoagie” than “bánh mì.”

I like the bánh mì and the service (and the coffee too) at Madame Vuong.

Knowing how much you like Vietnamese food, especially the sandwiches, I wondered if you knew about G&T Book Cafe in Summerside, 30 Spring Street (2 blocks N. of Water Street CIBC. They have been there since September.

I have only had their spring rolls and pork steam buns. Both delicious. I’m getting only take out these days. But they are expanding their menu. Easy to find on Facebook.

Congratulations on your book.

Hi Steven,

G&T Book Cafe is very happy to serve the customers like you. When customers are happy that day we are successful. We really want to introduce more and more Vietnamese foods to the customers. Hoping to see you again.
