The first bookstore I can remember from my childhood, this venerable institution is still there, in the same place and format, still going strong.
Truly a browser’s bookstore, I found several books on the shelves that I didn’t expect to find.
And all these years later I still can’t figure out how the complicated inside arrangement of stairs and balconies works.
