We Kayaked

Peter Rukavina

A group of five of us went out to Morell to take the kayak trip on the Morell River that I mentioned last week. It was amazing: unparalleled scenery, calm waters running our way, beautiful weather.  This is a trip that anyone can do, whether you’ve kayaked or not and if you’re looking for a great way to spend an afternoon before the snow flies, this is it.

It really is a beautiful area of PEI. People are usually surprised at how many services and businesses are in that small community.

Some local committee just did a lot of work to the park beside the river there as well. New boat slip, new floating marina, new playground equipment, and a new community building. Who ever worked on that project did a great job down there. The community seems proud.
