Wayward Crows

Peter Rukavina

There’s a bug in Charlottetown’s crow population operating system that’s caused hundreds of birds to congregate in our back yard. It’s very weird. See also The Crow Agenda.

The same at our place, Peter. I never appreciated how much mess they make until this last month. And this is because of a bug?

I’ve noticed the increasing number of crows as well. They’re very noticable at dawn and dusk during their “commute” in and out of the safe harbour of town for the night.

I am mildly concerned at the prospect of a West Nile virus outbreak this summer. I just don’t remember them congregating them as much even a few years ago.
