Updated Charlottetown Mobile Transit Schedule

Peter Rukavina

I’ve made a small update to the m.thebus.ca mobile transit schedule this afternoon, adding the “next stop” times for each stop, for both outbound (↑) and inbound (↓) runs right on the first page.

Any thoughts about including a google map into the mobile site? …this is coming from a guy who uses a 4-year-old cell phone.

@sgallant Good idea on the map - to begin, I’ve added “Map showing stop location” links to every stop in the mobile schedule.

@rob Have you looked at the route map lately? When the schedule got updated in June of 2007 the routes other the Route #1 got so complicated that trying to represent them on a map just got too complex.

So, at least for the time-being, I’ll stick with Route #1. Which is enough to get you almost anywhere actually worth going ;-)

I anticipated that answer, but had to ask anyway.

I feel like aimlessly riding up and down University Avenue with my iPhone just to make use of this.

Well, the Farmer’s Market is nice on Saturdays, and there’s always the Best of PEI Market, or the movies, or even Owls Hollow — all accessible on Route #1.
