Success Grapefruit Segments

Peter Rukavina

I bought this can of grapefruit segments 100% because of the brand name. I wasn’t even in the market for grapefruit segments.

I wonder how they peel and make the segments so nicely. I came home yesterday and found an old takeout bowl stuffed with maybe 100 tiny clementine segments. I think my mom spent who-knows-how-long peeling an entire bag of clementines for my son. I hope she was doing something mundane while doing it because that's boring work.

I distinctly remember my grandmother peeling oranges and grapefruit into perfectly formed skinless segments for us when we were kids visiting her overnight.
