If you’ve got a streaming Netflix subscription, or other access to the BBC Television back-catalogue, I recommend The State Within, a 7-part series set in Washington, DC made in 2006 starring Jason Isaacs. It’s a well-crafted “conspiracy thriller.”

I loved, loved, LOVED this
I loved, loved, LOVED this series. Just loved it. I loved it so much I wish I could erase from my mind so I could watch it for the first time all over again.
I maintain that they have to put a warning on it that you should block off four hours to finish it, because I maintain it’s impossible to stop watching after episode four.
