All reports from his adoptive family are that Ethan is thriving and is much-loved. I do miss him so, especially those times he would climb up on my lap, despite his 65 pounds, and fall asleep.

Peter - small world, have been a long time reader of the blog. In line for ice cream tonight in Cornwall, I chatted with some folks who indicated their dog was a retired service dog when my daughter took a liking to him. I confirmed it was Ethan (who I told them was “famous on the internet”) and can confirm he is happy, healthy, and full of ice cream.
