Inexplicably, I have become a fan of the defunct television series Firefly. Before leaving for France, I watched the entire series on DVD, the vicitim of the 84 Fitzroy St. communcal DVD library.
I say inexplicably because I’m not usually a fan of obscure science fiction slash western cult television shows. But this one is good. Really.
And this fall, it’s being made into a movie called Serenity.

There is also a 3 issue comic
There is also a 3 issue comic / graphic novel coming out to explain what happens between the end of the series and the start of the movie. Apparently Joss did the writing, so it should be pretty good. Time to hit The Comic Hunter again…
