Polished Headlights

Peter Rukavina

I read about Meguiar’s PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish on Cool Tools, and immediately ordered some, as the prospect of being able to polish the headlights on my aging VW Jetta was alluring.

It worked as promised and new breath was blown into the eyes of our car.

Plain old toothpaste would have done the same job.

(It would be a great idea for kids looking to start a business to get into a headlight polishing enterprise. They could scout out cars in the neighborhood that have yellowed lenses and approach the owners for the gig of restoring them with their elbow grease and toothpaste).
