Here are pointers to the events calendars for candidates in the Democratic Primary in New Hampshire next week:

There’s also a Where the Candidates Are page on the New Hampshire Democratic Party website.

As I called the Iowa primary correctly (and my eventual prediction for the outcome of the primary season is Kerry as Presidential candidate with Edwards as Vice-President), I’m willing to also predict victory by Stronach in the Conservative Party race. In both cases, I think optics and winnability is the winning card: Stronach is so obviously different from Martin, Harper, Layton et al that she is the only candidate to present a clear alternative to more of the same, and that’s what people will be looking for this spring. I’m not saying that she’ll also win the country. But posit this: I have no idea who she is, or what she believes in, and I’m already willing to consider voting Conservative whereas to get me to vote for Harper and his goons would require force of torture. That’s a shallow and somewhat embarassing statement to make, and whether I would follow it through to the ballot box is another question. But I think it represents something important.
