Here’s what’s new and hot on the Blogroll:
- Dave Hyndman is back blogging after a summer off.
- Lisa Howard has started a new blog. You’re remember her from the fat cow affair.
- I’ve started to read Adam Curry again now that he’s blogging about audioblogging, especially iPodder, which is really neat. I think Adam is the archetypical user in Dave Winer’s UserLand.
- Mary Hodder blogs about Napsterization.

I wonder which word it was
I wonder which word it was that finally offended Chris. Was it the ‘fat?’ Or was it the ‘cow?’ Or did it take both words? Because personally, if it were me I would have found the words ‘cultural revolution’ a lot more offensive.
When you think about it, if
When you think about it, if you can, it is not really something one should be proud of.

I agree. None of us, with the possible exception of Peter and some of his friends from your mutual university heyday, are aware of the origins of your particular animosity towards Chris and his wife. All I witnessed was the internet equivalent of you standing in a room full of mostly strangers calling someone’s wife a “fat cow”. Classy.
Vital and real is what I saw.
Vital and real is what I saw. If the new media is to shift the crap out of the way, that was the greatest example of it. You want nice and banal, join the Auxilliary.

More people should have a concerned Aunt willing to make the occasional phone call. Too many people slept thru a lesson or two about decorum and respect, and how and when to show them. Many of us lived thru those college days, but it seems so many choose to display arrogance and an insulting face, and not show the best of what we were taught in life….here or anywhere.
While I agree for the most
While I agree for the most part there are a select few who deserve no respect despite the parting years. Handsome is as handsome does, saith Grannie, and I would not pre-judge invocation of such hearty venom with the eye of a prude. That being said, you may be entirely right. Happily, I will never know.
I resent that you would wish
I resent that you would wish to see someone banished to the minor leagues just because they have a different view of decency then you.
Shame on you!
