At at coffee break at work a couple weeks ago my co-workers and I were reminiscing about TV sitcoms of this era including The Jeffersons, Taxi, Barney Miller. I used to watch some of these shows in sydication (over 20 years ago now) after school on CBC. The memory of that clip came right back. A couple of other WKRP classics are the flying pigs (the horror, the horror) and the baseball game where Les Nessman catches a fly ball. Good times….

I think they were flying turkeys… or rather turkeys that were supposed to fly. The Kids In The Hall had a flying pig sketch though.

You’re right. I was thinking of the rival station WPIG. I think a fight between mascots is coming back to me. I guess I need to sharpen up and catch some more clips on Youtube I’m sure they are there. I think I am having a TV nostalgia attack its been 5+ years since I’ve even turned it on to watch something other than election coverage or a couple of hockey games.
