Load Average Fun

Peter Rukavina

Didn’t we get one somewhere in that range once ourselves back when working in a boiler room felt like ‘high tech’? What amazes me is when the load average goes over 5 it’s hard to get a screen prompt. How did you get the machine to report the load average; a very long wait?
