I saw an early television ad of Kerry’s, 4 or 5 months ago, and thinking how liberal he sounded for an American pol, social conscience, sophisticated world view, it was very palatable by my Canadian standards, now he plays hockey; I think JK must have been switched at birth, possibly with Stephen Harper.

isn’t it bad enough that we have to listen to the national anthem when 90% of the players are not from the united states? george bush goes to the indianapolis 500 john kerry plays hockey with the boston bruins. both of these guys are posers. too bad kyle mcclaren’s not playing for the bruins anymore. i would have paid american dollars to see him cream john kerry with a hipcheck.

To Chris Dumblap -

The difference between John Kerry and HOCKEY, and George Bush and NASCAR, is that Kerry actually plays hockey. He loves to skate and he enjoys the sport. He played hockey in college, and he’s continued to play pickup games as time has permitted over the years.

Just as Kerry is a “real” Veteran, he is also a “real” hockey player.

Bush on the other hand is NOT a NASCAR driver, and in fact.. when invited to the Daytona 500 recently to provide the “Gentleman, start your engines” call, he split the scene as soon as his PR stunt was done. Didn’t even hang around and socialize with the cronies who think he actually cares about NASCAR. Bush is a phoney in a GI-George Flightsuit posing as a Veteran, when in fact he is a draft dodger.

So you see, there is a difference. Kerry is the real deal. He shoots, he SCORES!!!!!! Bush is a Conneticut born & raised Texas wannabe whose biggest claim to fame as far as sports is concerned, is that daddy’s money bought him his own baseball team.

and Kerry earned all of his money (twice in his life mind you), by marrying in to it.

Kerry is the real deal ? He’s the real flip flop

Kerry is a real Vietnam veteran ? Then why wont he release his medical records from the time he was there ?

because he was a medal chaser ? because he violated Geneva conventions when he shot a wounded retreating soldier in the back ?

John Kerry is worth the effort it would take to spit on him

Hey, check it out, a real live bushbot. Not a very good one, unfortunately.

and Kerry earned all of his money (twice in his life mind you), by marrying in to it.

Find where he said “earned”.

Kerry is the real deal ? He’s the real flip flop

George Bush’s Flip Flops.

Kerry is a real Vietnam veteran ? Then why wont he release his medical records from the time he was there ?

He most definitely is a real Vietnam veteran. He’s released his entire service record. When Bush comes close to releasing the same amount of information on his AWoL years in his safe national guard post defending Texas from the Viet Cong then you can maybe start to ask about Kerry’s record.

because he was a medal chaser ?

This is just ridiculous, and the fact that there are people who believe and parrot these kinds of lines make me fear for American democracy.

Run along, little troll.

Well. How good is he on the skates? I see no comments about how he played. Thats more interesting than those damn lies about his militairy service records in Vietnam by Swap Boats For Better Ads

Wow, some of you voted for Kerry JUST because he played hockey? I play hockey, maybe you’ll vote for me if I decide to run for office. You guys are probably the same ones who voted for Clinton because he wore boxers or played a sax. Heaven forbid you’d want to actually look at his record as a Senator (what record?).

Of course, Bush won the election by what, 3 MILLION votes? So apparently a whole hell of a lot of people who also play hockey (such as myself) actually engaged their brains and voted for a guy with integrity, honesty and values.

And that person was NOT and never will be John Kerry.

“bush started the war, karry <sic> will end it…” God, what scintillating political commentary.

Yeah. And Bush started the democratization <look it=”” up,=”” noogies=”“> of the Middle East.

Kerry plays hockey? Really? He seems more the figure skating type to me. (Not that there is anything worng with that, right Jerry?)

It’s about time we got a real man into the white house. A man who plays the great game of hockey. John Kerry is just that man!!

I understand he’s a pretty damn good player considering he’s 60 years old! They say he was the third best player on his college hockey team.
As a fellow hockey player, it reaffirms everything I know about Kerry.
He’s a man of great talent and guts with diverse interests. Most important, he is a great leader with impeccable integrity.

His toughness was on display during the debates, especially the first one where he clearly intimidated Boy George from the opening handshake! If that was a fight, it was a first round knockout with boy George leaving the ring on a stretcher. John Kerry fights for ALL Americans and that’s why I fight for him! I’m a proud New Hampshire Kerry supporter and will be there for him again in 2008!! Fight on John Kerry!!! We need you!!!
