Works pretty well. I used a roller ball pen instead of a felt tip marker and the printed result is amazingly similar to my handwriting. On my first attempt my letters were not aligned vertical to each other very well. However instead of redoing everything, I just repositioned the letters in the scanned image use a Photoshop-like tool. For me at least this was easier than trying to write a natural looking letter and worrying about it’s position at the same time.
And since it’s a web application it worked great on Linux too.
My writing is simply awful and in fontifier it is legible but looks like a crow has scratched out the letters. Back to Times Roman I fear. Robin’s looks great - Thanks Peter for the tip
