Dr. Glendenning

Dr. Glendenning died this week.

On the spectrum of thoughts about how we educate our children (and ourselves), there was no one I was more aligned with.

And there was no person who had more lasting influence on education on Prince Edward Island than he.

My friend Dave wrote a loving remembrance.

The Glendennings lived across the street from us in the mid - 1970s. My earliest memory of Don was when my sister and I were invited out to their cottage in the country one winter day and he gave us rides on his skidoo. Through the years, one way or another, our family stayed connected to the Glendennings. He will be missed.
