Charlottetown Dairy Queen Busiest in World?

Peter Rukavina

AOL reports that the Charlottetown Dairy Queen is the busiest Dairy Queen in the world. They don’t provide a source for this (old media!), so I’m wondering where they got their information and what measure they use to rank “busyness.” Thanks to A. for the pointer.

I’ve heard that many of PEI’s fast food chains are among the busiest/most lucrative. I think the BK on the Avenue is one of the top producers. The old KMart had the highest sales in the country before Hudson Bay bought them all and converted them to Zellers stores.

I didn’t know it was the busiest in the world, but it has been the top store in Canada based on sales for 9 of last 10 years or something like that.

Lets be real, pei’s total population at 140,000+ and our DQ is busier that one in a large urban center?
