Bluetooth @ Superstore

I noticed last night that the photo lab at Atlantic Superstore in [[Charlottetown]] has machines that will let you send photos to them via Bluetooth. So you can bring in your Bluetooth-equipped camera-phone, slurp over the photos to the machine and make prints while you wait. I tried it — at least the “get the photos from phone to machine” part, and it worked like a charm.

“and it worked like a charm”

i.e. skipping the seven chapters to do with your “IT puberty years,” including those first experiments in syncing, networking and personal electronic devices. The proverbial man from Mars might have chosen to press “obliterate planet” before he got his smartphone to sync, I’m ready to suppose from my own bluetooth experiences.

In this case it really *was* easy, puberty or no: select photo on phone, press “Send,” select Bluetooth and select the Kodak machine as destination. 20 seconds later the photo is on the machine.
