Remember that 24 hour technology-less experiment we lived over the weekend? Well the “case study diary” is due tomorrow and even though, as a non-student, I can’t be graded on the written part of the project, I decided to assembly a diary anyway.
One of the freedoms of not being a student is that I didn’t need to heed any formal academic guidelines about 1½ inch margins and only writing in proper Edwardian English.
So my project is more of a graphic novel than an formal essay. Here’s a PDF file of it if you’re interested, and here’s what it looks like:
That’s lovely, Peter.
In all my years as a student at UPEI (finishing degree #2), I can’t say I’ve ever delivered a paper as interesting to look at as that.
I love this. I am so envious of the freedom you have to present your report in such an accessible way — if I have to look at one more Times New Roman word doc with headers and footers and bold subject titles blah blah blah…
hmmm — I think my next report shall be a little more inventive.
And well done on the case-study! That must have been a real challenge for you both.
One of those calls were from your benevolent landlords who were all retreating in Cavendish while our shared server room was ironically overheating because it was too cold outside for the A/C. After hearing your message we called your brother instead who saved the day.
Irony of ironies Nathan…I guess that failed debit card of Peter’s was an omen of a differnt sort after all!
