Why isn’t Passmore Street named on your map of Charlottetown? I am outraged!

Mary, the map comes from OpenStreetMap, an open community-created street map of the world. As such, you have the power to add Passmore Street yourself.

Not too impressed by the City map, Peter …. it omits Emerald Drive!! Doug Boylan 3 Emerald Drive!

Doug, as with Mary before you, this is an open community-created map so it’s not suprising that there are streets missing. The exciting thing is that, with simple tools and just a little training, you can add Emerald Drive to the map yourself!

Mary, Passmore street *is* named on the map — it’s just that at the zoom level that I linked to the label can’t fit on the map. If you zoom in, you’ll see it. Doug, I’ve added Emerald Drive on your behalf.
