Josh Ritter + Sarah Harmer

Josh Ritter (recommended by Ann) is starting a Canadian tour soon, and it includes dates in Halifax, Saint John, Fredericton and St. John’s here in the east. He then heads east through Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

I came to know this by following Steven on a wild goose chase for the identity of a song playing in the background of a VW Touareg commercial currently playing on television. We’re not sure if it’s Ritter, but it sounds close.

Are we talking about the “With Clothes on Down…” song? Very slow, mostly low sounding vocals? I’ve spent the better part of 3 work days trying to find out who sings that song and what it’s called. Nice guess with Josh Ritter - I can see that. But can anyone confirm?

Thanks, guys. I, too, was looking for it. Did anyone else watch that commercial and feel, “This song is too good for this commercial”?

I found the song last night as well, after being unsuccessful the previous night I tried searching the internet for it. It just evokes something, you know?
