Hey Tod, what about Charlottetown?

Tod Maffin is traveling the country “to meet with Canadian podcasters so we can meet each other share ideas, swap geeky tech tips, and more.”

Tod is hitting several major (and several minor) cities across the country, from St. John’s to Whitehorse, but he’s not coming to Charlottetown!

Hey, Tod: come to Charlottetown! Podcasting was sort of invented here on PEI. And we’re podcasting pioneers to boot.

We’ll even pay for lunch at the Formosa Tea House.

Hi Peter, I’d love to, believe me. (And seeing the now-famous Formosa would be a treat.) I’ve even called Air Canada to see if I can make it work. Unfortunately, I have to be in Ottawa for CBC meetings on Nov 25 and I’m in St. John’s prior to that. It’s a tight schedule… blech. :(

There’s gotta be a way. While at CBC today doing my thingy, I was told that Tod Maffin will be calling CBC Charlottetown to chat on the phone, no doubt around the board table. I was asked if I’d be interested in being part it, and of course I said yes. Too bad Tod can’t actually be here, as Peter has said. Mmmmm Formosa.

So many podcasters, so little love. Ah well… perhaps a podcast gathering where we skype tod in and drink his beer for him?

Todd I have a nice guest house for you to stay in - so next time if you can get a plane you don’t have to worry about the costs of stayin g here and we evn have an office for you at the Queen Street Commons. I t would be fun to meet you face to face Rob
