Neat photo Peter, where did it come from? It was probably taken at some point between 1879 and 1883. The Houle house at the corner of Prince and Richmond (the brick one) was built in 1879. In 1883 a two and a half storey mansard-roofed place was built on the corner of Prince and Sydney. Still there, but much altered.

The photo came from the Public Archives. I suppose I should, under the letter of the law, add some sort of formal credit. I’ll have to ask G. for the wording.

What about expanding those giant flying wormy things? Do you guys still get those a lot? They look like chromosomes from outer space.

You mean you don’t have giant flying worms in North Carolina?

The credit should go to Public Archives of PEI, Acc. 3879/13.
