Bloggers on Prince Edward Island

Blogger reports 40 people on Prince Edward Island using their service. Most of them I’ve never seen. Neato.

The other thing to keep in mind is that they are reporting another 40 bloggers from PEI. This is a completely different set. Do you think that maybe they are only displaying the 40 most recently updated, or most visited perhaps?

As a rainy summer days project, I’ve been compiling a list of PEI blogs at url peiblogs.com. It started out for my own use, but others might find it useful too. I’ve also included the RSS/ATOM posting titles when available. A few things are still broken (e.g. search shows code rather than RSS/Atom headings)until I can find another rainy day. So far I’ve found 154 blogs of various types. I note that around 26 of the ones from the Blogger list were not in my list (I’ll add them), and I expect there are at least another 100 out there somewhere. Many of these are from high school students, or are not updated frequently.

Now if only Google would get useful and integrate blogger’s personal profiles with Orkut…
