Cynthia Dunsford Rejoins the Blogroll

Thanks to the magic of Feedster, Cynthia Dunsford, a determined Blogspot hold-out, has rejoined the blogroll.

Here’s her RSS feed, a simulated feed created by Feedster and enabled by a simple and snazzy change in the Blogspot template.

Welcome back!

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my manager, P-diddy Rukie. If it wasn’t for him I never would have made it this far. Peace out to you bro. And to my Mom and Dad for picking me out of the crop. You like me, you really like me.

So now there’s RSS for Blogspot … and, on Peter’s advice, I’m paying $5 a month for what …? Damn you, Peter R! Damn you!

That’s it, I’m stealing a typepad template and sticking my blogger tags in it just to spite you snooty ‘blog intelligencia’ types ;)

The only thing I miss about BlogSpot, that isn’t available at the basic TypePad level, is the ability to go into the template html and fart around with intricacies of design.
What I never liked about BlogSpot was that, for instance, to enable essential blog features such as ‘comments’ (and now, as well, for an RSS feed), you have to go to a third party site and use their service. You can, pretty quickly, discover that quite a few cooks are stirring up the broth.
I have 9 days left in my free TypePad blog trial. I expect I’ll stay with it. The other option is not to go back to BlogSpot, but to give up blogging at all.
