Artful Salacious Blowback

Some delightful salacious blowback from Cynthia. Alas I’m not a dotcom, I’m a dotnet. Hardly as now, I realize. But I’ve always liked being then more than now anyway.

Is it just me? But the fun salacious blog writing seems to come from women. Cynthia sounds fun. Halley is my fave.

Maybe guys are either too shy — see White Sweater — or just crude.

Us girls are used to keeping diaries. My pink plaid 1 year diary was one the first birthday presents I can remember getting from a friend. Perhaps we’re just used to keeping track of our thoughts in the written form, whether they be salacious or serious.

Good point Cynthia — many girl contemporaries had diaries and I cannot think of one man/boy who did.

There was a sweet story on the radio the other day of a young girl in the 19th century when so many women died in chilkd birth wondering in her diary whether she would live to see her own children grow up and asking them to be kind to her when they read her diary as a girl.

You remind me that a diary might make a special present for my god children (the girls that is — I have found that model rockets work very well with boys)

If your god daughter(s) are anything like me, they’ll have rocket-envy.
